If you are visiting the One-Stop Career Center for traditional classroom trainings, apprenticeship opportunities or work based learning such as On the Job Training (OJT), please be advised we have created a new process to best assist you:

Process for Success:


  1. Register in the Resource Room or click here
  2. Complete online orientation in the Resource Room
  3. Meet with a Talent Development Specialist (TDS)
  4. Complete Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) and/or Nevada Career Information System (NCIS) assessments
  5. Complete Work Keys assessment (if requesting training)
  6. Commit to long term participation in program
  7. Be determined eligible and in need of services
  8. Complete enrollment with your TDS
  9. Develop an Individualized Employment Plan (IEP) and determine goals
  10. Receive services requested and/or required for success

Documentation required:

  • Verification of age (18 years to participate)
  • Selective Service registration for males born after 1960
  • Citizenship and eligibility to work verification
  • Social Security number verification
  • Proof of Nevada residency


Program Requirements:

  • Complete assessments – Testing times can vary from 1-4 hours
  • Career Counseling
  • Job search
  • Long term program commitment
  • Meet all eligibility criteria

For new or walk-in clients, same day services may not be available after 3:00pm. Please see a One-Stop staff member at the front desk for more information.
