Financial Incentives

Employers can receive financial incentives for hiring Nevadans, and receive no-cost assistance with talent recruitment, candidate pre-screening and hiring. We connect employers to the largest jobseeker database in the state. It has a large diverse pool of work-ready candidates. Streamlined access to these work-ready candidates saves you time and money. That time and money can be reallocated to other areas of business.

You can also receive financial incentives for hiring Nevadans. After the new employee is hired and retained for 120 days, you can earn $2,000. If you provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new employees, the incentives can be even greater. Reimbursements are available to an employer dependent on the job function of the new employee. The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is a federal tax credit available to employers for hiring Nevadan’s from certain target populations who face barriers to employment.
